The Professional Intensive English Certificate Program will take your English skills to higher professional level, and build your knowledge of international business. It is blended program of self-study and intensive classroom instruction that provides all the tools you need to learn and apply specialized English for a variety of professions (finance, marketing, law, human resources…). The focus is on international business practices, American business vocabulary, and concepts and cultural factors that affect international business. You get valuable speaking practice that will help you use English with confidence and ease. Another benefit is strengthening your general English, grammar and vocabulary. Students receive a Professional English Certificate on completion of the program – a verification of the student’s English language abilities and professional knowledge.

Professional English Classes
The Professional English classes are designed to enable students to significantly improve their English communication skills and practical understanding of professional and business fundamentals. In the classroom, there will be lively and relevant discussions, role-play, case-studies and presentation. Interesting materials and activities will help develop and improve speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Building professional vocabulary and knowledge is integrated into the diverse topics, which include:
· Communication skills with emphasis on intercultural communication
· Business socializing and interpersonal communication
· Presentations and public speaking
· Leadership and motivation in the workplace
· Writing business reports and proposals
As well, topics and discussion focus on the cultural influences of communication in English, for business and private life. The materials are customized to fit the different backgrounds, learning abilities and styles of the students.
Lab Hours
The self-study component of program uses a language learning software that is flexible, fun and with proven results. It is a dynamic learning environment that combines audio, text and visuals. You work at your own level and pace, and choose the professional situations and specific vocabulary you would like to work on. Some examples are: participating in a wide range of discussion with clients or business partners, and professional telephone conversation. You can also learn and practice general English, such as having social conversations and making travel plans.
All the skills involved in learning and improving your professional and practical English are covered: reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammar. The most advanced speech recognition on the market helps you to improve and perfect your pronunciation with visual and audio feedback and corrections.
TUITION is: $187.5 a week / $750 every 4 weeks/ $1875 for 10 weeks. Please note an lab license is required $100 valid for 12 weeks
